The Globe Prepaid Traveler eSIM is a digital SIM for tourists visiting the Philippines for vacation or business. You can install it into your eSIM-capable device even before you arrive in the country.
Check your smartphone’s eSIM compatibility by downloading the GlobeOne app and running the compatibility test.
For iOS users, go to “Settings,” “General,” “About,” and “Carrier Lock.” If you see “No SIM restrictions”, your iPhone is not locked to a carrier.
For Android users, go to “Settings,” “Connections,” “Mobile Networks,” “Network Operators,” and then tap “Search Now” to see if the names of other carriers come up. If multiple carrier names show up, your phone is not locked to a carrier.
You can also contact your current carrier to check if your phone is locked or not.
