You don’t have to look for a local SIM card in an unfamiliar environment or contact your mobile provider for permission.

• Who can use the GoRoam promo?
  Globe Platinum, Prepaid, or Postpaid users and TM customers can register to GoRoam.

• How do I register or check the status of my account?
  You can text GOROAM [COUNTRY] to 8080. Alternatively, you can buy it on the GlobeOne app, which is downloadable in all app stores. 
  
  For most destinations, you can subscribe through either the GCash or GlobeOne app. Simply log in to your preferred app and follow these steps:

  • On GlobeOne, navigate to Buy > Roaming > GOROAM [COUNTRY] to purchase your roaming package.
  • On GCash, select Load > Globe > Roaming & Intl > GOROAM [COUNTRY].

  Please note that for Taiwan, subscription is only available through the GlobeOne app. 
  
  You can also opt out of the promo early or check its status by texting GOROAM [COUNTRY] OFF or GOROAM [COUNTRY] STATUS to 8080, respectively.

• How do I know if my GoRoam promo is active?
  Once you've successfully registered to GoRoam, you’ll receive a notification that it's active when you turn on your mobile data and data roaming while abroad. 
  
  For Postpaid subscribers: You can pre-register a day before your trip. Once abroad, turn on your mobile data and data roaming to activate the offer. You’ll receive an SMS confirmation. 
  
  For Prepaid customers: Register once you're abroad. Then follow these steps:

  • Go to Settings, turn on mobile data, then data roaming.
  • Set your network to 3G.
  • Restart your phone.
  • Ensure the APN is set to http://internet.globe.com.ph/.
  • Enable automatic selection of network operators.
  • Once active, you may switch to LTE or 5G for better service.

  There will also be pre-expiration notifications when your promo is about to end or if you've used up your data.

• Can I use GoRoam if I go to two countries in succession?
  GoRoam promos are country-specific, so you must activate a new plan in each country. Postpaid customers can queue GoRoam offers for multiple countries.
• Is there a daily limit on GoRoam data usage?
  There are no daily caps, but each plan has a total data limit. For example, you can consume 15 GB of a GoRoam Thailand plan in one day even if it's valid for eight days.
