`To use the Globe Prepaid Traveler eSIM, your phone must be unlocked. Here's how you can check:

 

  • For iPhone users:

    • Go to Settings > General > About > Carrier Lock

    • If you see "No SIM restrictions", your iPhone is unlocked.

       

  • For Android users:

    • Go to Settings > Connections > Mobile Networks > Network Operators

    • Tap Search Now to check for available carriers. If multiple carriers appear, your phone is unlocked.

       

  • You can also contact your current carrier to confirm if your device is unlocked.

No, the eSIM must be purchased and downloaded on the same device where it will be used.

Yes! You can purchase additional data promos through the GlobeOne app under the "Buy Promo" section. However, please note:

  • Buying more promos does not extend the eSIM's 30-day validity.

  • Once the 30-day period ends, you will need to purchase a new eSIM if you need continued service

Once your eSIM purchase is complete, the GlobeOne app will automatically install the eSIM on your device. Simply follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.

Upon arriving in the Philippines, ensure that your phone's cellular data settings are correctly configured to Globe Telecom eSIM and that mobile data is turned on.

 

  • For iPhone/iPad users:

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Tap Cellular (or Network)

  3. Under SIMs or Cellular Plans, turn on Globe eSIM

  4. Under Cellular Data, select Globe eSIM

  5. To avoid roaming charges, turn OFF "Allow Cellular Data Switching"

     

  • For Android users:

  1. Go to Settings > Connections > Mobile Network

  2. Ensure that Globe eSIM is turned on

     

  • For Google Pixel users:

  1. Go to Settings > Network & Internet

  2. Select Mobile Network

  3. Toggle on Globe eSIM

  4. Keep Roaming ON for your eSIM
