SIM Registration Act FAQ - Globe Help and Support

The SIM Registration Act (SRA) requires all SIM owners to register their SIMs to use them for mobile internet, calls, and texts. This applies to both physical SIM cards and eSIMs, used in mobile phones, prepaid WiFi kits, or other devices. If you don’t register, your SIM won’t be activated, and you won’t be able to use it.

This law aims to protect consumers from illegal activities like scams, smishing, and fraud, which have become more common as criminals can use unregistered SIMs anonymously. To avoid this, all SIMs sold by telcos or authorized resellers will be deactivated until registered through official platforms.

This law applies to everyone—locals and foreigners—along with corporate entities using SIMs purchased in the Philippines for devices, such as mobile phones and modems.

If you're using Globe Mobile, TM, Globe at Home Prepaid WiFi, or any Globe Business service, just head to our online registration page or use the GlobeOne App to register your SIM in a few easy steps.
