Netflix is a global streaming service offering on-demand movies and TV shows. You can enjoy original and quality content anytime, anywhere—no matter where you are.

Netflix offers a wide range of movies and TV shows, including Action, Comedy, Drama, Horror, and Romance. It also has a feature to help parents control what kids can watch.

What makes Netflix special is its exclusive original shows and movies that you can’t find anywhere else.

The minimum speed needed to stream Netflix is 0.5 Mbps. For the best quality, we recommend a speed of 5.0 Mbps or more for HD content.

You can stream Netflix content instantly by visiting www.netflix.com/ph or downloading the Netflix app on your iOS or Android device (using a Philippine account). Netflix is also available on internet-connected devices, including smartphones, tablets, laptops, gaming consoles, and streaming media players (set-top boxes).

Yes, you can download selected movies and TV shows from Netflix! Simply browse the available content, select your desired movie or episode, and tap the download icon.

We recommend downloading over Wi-Fi to save on mobile data. You can download as many titles as your device storage allows, and watch them offline at your convenience.

The number of devices you can use to watch Netflix at the same time depends on your subscription plan.

Here are the Netflix plans and how many devices you can use at the same time:

  • Netflix Mobile (P149/month): SD quality, 1 device (mobile/tablet only)

  • Netflix Basic (P249/month): SD quality, 1 device

  • Netflix Standard (P399/month): HD quality, 2 devices

  • Netflix Premium (P549/month): UHD quality, 4 devices

Yes, you can change your plan at any time. The change will happen in your next billing cycle, and you’ll be charged based on the new plan at the end of your current month.

You can cancel your Netflix subscription at any time by texting NETFLIX STOP to 2157. But you can also manage your subscription in the Netflix app by following these steps:

  1. Tap the menu icon in the top-left corner of the home screen.

  2. Go to Settings > Account.

  3. Select Cancel Membership and then tap Complete Cancellation to confirm. You’ll receive an email confirmation, and your cancellation will take effect at the end of your current subscription period.

No, you won’t be charged. Your account will update in a few days, and you can keep watching until the end of your current subscription.

Frequently Asked Questions on Account Sharing

Account sharing is when you share your Netflix login details with others, whether they live with you or not.

Yes! You can share your Netflix account with anyone in your household, making it easy for everyone to enjoy their favorite shows. However, those outside your household will need their own account to keep the fun going.

For more details, visit www.netflix.com/sharing.

A Netflix Household refers to the devices connected to the internet at the main place you watch Netflix. Setting up your household is simple—just use your TV device, and any device connected to the same internet will automatically be part of your Netflix Household.

Netflix uses smart tools, like IP addresses, device IDs, and account activity, to ensure that only devices within your household access your account.

Absolutely! You can watch Netflix on the go or while traveling. Whether you’re using a tablet, laptop, or mobile phone, or signing into a new TV (like in a hotel or rental), Netflix works seamlessly. Visit Netflix Help for more details.

The new account sharing feature mainly affects those who live outside the account holder’s household. If you’re sharing with someone outside your home, it’s a good time to set up a new account.

If you charge your Netflix subscription to your Globe bill, you’re all set! There’s no change to your service, and you can continue enjoying Netflix without interruptions.

For users outside the household, you'll need to create a new account to keep watching. Please note that your current profile won't transfer, so your Watch History, Downloads, and My List will not carry over.

You can set up your new Netflix account to be billed directly through your Globe account by visiting Netflix Globe.

Just keep in mind that creating a new account means you won’t be able to transfer your old profile, so your Watch History, Downloads, and My List won’t move over.
