Plan ahead for a worry-free trip! Globe now lets you book your roaming promos in advance—anywhere from 4 days to a year before your trip. Open the GlobeOne app, choose your destination, select an available promo, and set your preferred activation date.

Once you arrive abroad on your scheduled activation date, just turn on your mobile data and data roaming to start surfing.

Reminder: Promo activation follows Philippine Time (PHT). If you arrive in a different time zone, your promo may activate at a later hour based on PHT.

• For Prepaid customers – The promo fee will be deducted from your load balance right after you book via the GlobeOne app.

• For Postpaid customers – You will only be charged once your promo activates abroad. The fee will be added to your next bill.

Your promo will automatically activate at midnight (PHT) on your scheduled trip date.

To ensure smooth activation:

• Turn ON your mobile data and data roaming when you arrive.

• Do NOT turn on data roaming too early to avoid unintended activation of Roam Surf 399 or 499 in certain countries (e.g., Hong Kong, Singapore, UK).

• Set your APN to internet.globe.com.ph. (Go to Settings > Mobile Networks > APN and manually enter the correct APN.)

If you already know that your scheduled trip will not push through, you have the option to cancel your advance-booked roaming promo in the "My Promos Booked in Advance" section of the GlobeOne app. Once cancelled, you'll receive a text from Globe confirming that the request to cancel your advanced booking has been processed.

Please note that refunds are only for the roaming promos booked in advance that haven't been activated yet.

Editing the scheduled trip on the GlobeOne app is not available for now.

Your promo is valid only in Globe’s Roam Surf partner countries. If your trip includes multiple countries, the promo will still work as long as you're in a partner country and within the validity period.

However, GoRoam promos are country-specific and will not work in multiple destinations.

All data roaming promos can be pre-booked in advance except for Postpaid Roam Surf 399, Roam Surf 499, Easy Roam 149 and Roam Surf4All.

You can only book roaming promos in advance via the GlobeOne app.

Your pre-booked promo will follow the scheduled trip date. If you arrive earlier, and your mobile data and data roaming are on:

Postpaid: Roam Surf 399 will automatically activate; your advance-booked promo will only activate once the ongoing offer expires.

Prepaid: Without an active promo, you will not be able to do data browsing.

No need to worry! We got you covered should your trip plans change:

If there are unexpected delays, you can still activate your advance-booked promo within 48 hours from the scheduled trip or promo activation date. For example, if your scheduled trip date is December 1, 2024, you have until December 3, 11:59 p.m. to activate your advance-booked promo abroad.
